Bring On The Trumpets

So, i think it is my day to blog, although saskia did blog earlier so i am slightly confused, though she never blogs on the right day so i think im good!! ^_^

So what has happened in my wild, epic, enthralling life....absoloutley nothing in the last three day.
"OMG Really," i hear you cry in shock. "How could that be Shaunie, when your life is more interesting then eastenders, hollyoaks, correy and holby city all rolled into one?" I totally understand the amount of shock that is currently overwhelming you, flooding through your veins as if a dam the size of hoover, holding back millions of gallons of surpirse, has just burst out of your Aorta pumped, with diastolic pressure, around your body but ihate to dissappoint you fellow bloggers [or sanum and saskia] that no oustandingly amazing, brilliantly enthralling, utterly encapsulating events have occured in the last three days!! =p

Basically, my netball game was conceded AGAIN on Saturday >_< so i went to the gym!!
And on Sunday, i went to the gym!

But ohh... I did apply for my provisional!! And i am also a registerded organ doner!! Who thought, one miunte im filling in a form for my license, next im picking body parts that i wish to donate in the event of my death!! Lol, i wonder if anyone will be willing to take my brain... Sas, we should try and figure that one out!!

Well, Well, Well...

Looks like I am the only one who has remembered to blog in our little cycle!! I think that means there is some punishment in order for some people...??

So yesterday I went to Freud's house and the tate modern. Twas rather interesting, he was obsessed with antiquities and books!! Didnt get to lay on his couch and be asked 'and how does that make you feel?' Went to the tate which is the first time i have ever been to a proper art gallery and it was really intersting! The paintings were cool, though was dissappointed with one that was supposed to be like optical illusion but didnt work! And there was one artist that had some quite disturbing pictures!

Nothing that interesting has happened today. Did have our coin map out though and was amazed at how successful it was, over 2 days we raised £200.43, which i thought was quite good!

My Michael McIntyre DVD got here today *yay ^_^ so will watch that at some point tonight, possibly just after i tidy my pigsty of a room!! =s

On Saturday, i drove past some sheep and felt a tad bit guilty that i was cutting their mates heart up the day before, lol! =] Lucky i dont feel that when im eating them =]

Was well grumpy all weekend,especially Sunday as i left home at 11.00 and got home at 14.30 just to go to the gym...was not good! But i did get a free T-Shirt!! And reatail therpy is a god send!! Ended up writing my pychology essay yetserday though it was like banging my head againt a brick wall... painfully slow!!

So Barack Obama gets inaugarated today, its ironic that two amazing things should happen on one day! Lol

So today has been a good day!! Although the scissor thing in History was marginally traumatic >_<

Had a really nice man, Dean, come in to talk about his expereince in Uganda, it was really helpful... I didnt realise Uganda was so green!

Got wonderfully wrapped presents from Terrance, thank your mummy for me sas =p, that included 1001 albums to hear before you die. So decided that i am gonna use it to finish downloading all the half albums i have on iTunes of peopple like The Who, although i was bitterly dissappointed to see McFly werent in it!! But thank you so much saskia, you reallt didnt need to get me that much!! =] Cant wait to dig in to that aestheically pleasing, lucious chocolate slab!!



Loving the drawing!! =p But i think you made a mistake, your Mrs Evans, im Mrs Laurie!! =p And i love the way you are taller than all of us!! lol But Shabina is the shortest and that is all that matters!! =p

Still waiting for my mummy before i open the rest of my presents and birthday cake mysteriously appeared in the fridge when i got home so i may expand on this blog later!!

If Only....

I Could make videos and put them on blogger to avoid boring you with my life story

Okay, i was gonna do whole list of carries on to the 'If Only' but that is the only one i could think of ^_^

So yesterday, i got to cut up a sheep's heart, which was interesting!! It was a little bit gross, but overall fairly cool, although im not going to become a butcher because of it!!

Today has been a pretty rubbish day! Got up at 9 to go to Bedford just to go to the gym!! 9 O Clock on a Saturday!!! It was so not worth it, the one in Hitchin was much more convenient and i think that, at least at the mo, i like the Hitchin one better!!

Then had my hair Highlighted and trimmed!! It looks very blonde and Claire put some Bed Head 'Curls rock' stuff in it and it actually stopped it from looking so wild, i may have to purchase some!!

Then went home and watched rugby. Was really look forward to the Perpignan Match but Dan Carter wasn't playing so that was really disappointing!! >_<

Spoke to beanbag =] But found out not going to pizza Express =[ Because Saskia is ill =[ Hope she feels better soon! =]

So bored at the minute that it is doing my head in so may go and drow my sorrows in youtube, A Bit of Fry and Laurie , Sims or Guitar Hero( Havent decided which yet, probably an amalgam of all 4)

Decided that after getting up ridiculously early again tomorrow to go to the gym that i may go to town and hope that some retail therapy will numb the pain that ANOTHER essay will mercilessly drain from me!! >_<

I am cold >_< My room seems to be the coldest in the house, and with the weather today that is some acheivment!!

Carrying on the breakfast convo...Cheerios arent that bad, but not as good as Special K!!! And if you ever have porridge, you should try it with Jam in, its nice!!

So yesterday i had to do my english Oral (Ill pause so Sanum can giggle) and i think it went quite well, no extra mark for my pictures on my slideshow though =[ That was really the only major thing that happened tuesday!!

Today our Spanish teacher is back from Columbia!! =] And she bought us some Columbian sweets which were very nice!!
We had tutor period which was a bit like group therapy... Had to answer some really hard question: 'How do you think other people see you?' I dont know!! How do you see me?!
Late for Biology =s as most weeks =s
Then walked up Stockingstone to take Jacob for a walk before returning back to College for a Uganda meeting. When i got home turned out my nan was there and i didnt need to take him so ended up walking up Stockingstone twice for no reason >_< Oh well!!
Then on my way back to college some numpty said 'oh pink face' or something like that when i walked past,obviously ignorant to the fact that any sort of comeback to that i could have made racist, but i obviously wouldnt go there!! =] Im quite happy my face was pink and not bright red to be honest!!

OMG, my gym memberhsip at Hitchin was cancelled so we could start going to Golds gym in Bedford!! I like the gym at Hitchin!! And ill have to find new people to perv on (Not that that is why i go to the gym or anything)

For the rest of the day i am planning to do nothing!! Might play guitar hero, because yes i am one =p and then sleep!

Couldnt figure it out the other day when talking about Michael McIntyre and snow, assumed you couldnt, but Sanum managed to - although she is having some illicit affair with youtube so that may be why =p - so here goes!

I have had complaints about the lack of effort that went into my last blog, Sanum im looking at you >_<, so ill try and write one with a bit more enthusiasm!!

So my day today: I had a biology test first thing today that went horribly wrong! I did not understand half the questions and you know its doesnt go well when you get the first multiple choice question wrong!! But apparently Parik copied me, Nikima copied him and Chloe copied her and they all got that wrong!! Serves them right =p

Had english in which i practiced my oral, really not looking forward to doing that onTuesday =[

Then had Spanish where we had to watch a video and answer questions about it! I couldnt understand anything the Spanish as they spoke soooooo fast!!

In History me and Karen were writing a presentation about Trotsky which we have to present on Tuesday ... What is it with the IB making us do speeches... >_<

Currently watching friends, havnt watched it in ages and it was the episode with Phoebes funny running ... Pure comic genius!! =p

There is a new Qi on today, BBC One 9 o' clock so cant wait for that!! =] =]

The snow has finally gone and my journey to college and ack again was safe.
Had no pschology lesson as Jodi was in a meeting, went home at 2.40 ^_^ Wooh
Went to bank
Came home
Off for a jog =s
Coming back to revise Biology for my test tomorrow!!

Walking in a winter...

...Wonderland?! Is that really the right word?... We are in Luton after all.

When i woke up Monday morning i was sooo excited about the snow, i wasnt this excited about christmas! Then i remebered that i wasnt at Stopsley anymore and didnt get the day off, but i was still excited.

Going up and down Stockingstone was interesting that day, and i managed not to fall totally on my arse. Sadly my teachers werent snowed out but i had no test, contrary to what saskia told me, so it was a good day.

This morning, i was slightly confused as to whether the snow i saw was new snow or old snow, turned out it was old snow but it still looked fresh on first glance as our road's not a very busy one!

Walking down stockingstone was like mission impossible as all the snow had been compacted into ice, not good! Lessons were as lessons are, although i did learn that Liverpool is 'the Bastard son of Everton'... Lmao!!

In English though, i volunteer to be one of the first people to do my oral, yes Sanum ORAL!!! Why?! Not even Jesus knows.... Next time i really need someone to stop me for carrying out such acts of idiocy!!

Wakling back up Stockingstone was also quite traumatic! And there are still bits of untouched snow in houses along my road... I really wanted to go and walk on it or make snow angels but i dont think anyone would appreciate finding me lying in their front garden =[

Just spent aggges making a powerpoint for my ORAL, which i am rather proud of, so fingers crossed that it all goes well!! ^_^

Every Other Day...

...My Arse!!

So according to sanum my new years resolution is to blog everyday ... Sanum my life is nowhere near enough interesting to do that, but i shall try to do it more often if it makes you happy!!

So, most of my day today was taken up by netball, which overall was a right cofuffle!!

Left home at 9:30 and walked with Dad and Jacob to Putteridge for about 10.10 for a 10.30 start and was the only one there from my team 'til about 10.30!! The courts were still frozen, despite the salt thrown over them, so we had to move to Ashcroft because apparently a divisional cup match cant be postponed!! >_<

So at Ashcroft it was bloody Freezing!! We eventaully started at about 11.15 only to be absoloutly stuffed by a team called Red Devils!! Our team werent really in it and to were sick (or hungover >_<) and had to go off for the last quater and we had to play with 5 and ironically we played better with 5!!!

Walked home and got home at about 1pm! Thats 3.30 hours taken up by netball ... Oh Well!!

After that watched rugby, ate Tuna pizza (dont knock it until you try it =p) and just finished doing last minute maths homework for tomorrow!!

Apparently have a biology exam tomorrow and have done Jack all so will fail, ill update you with that excellent news in the near future!!

Back to college tomorrow ...... *sighs*
