Be Our Guest

Im just gonna dive straight into this blog!

Friday i got up at 4.30am....Way too early for my liking but was surprisingly alert at that time of the morning. This was for a collection in Cannon Street station to raise money for our Uganda project. It was extremely tedious standing there for ages. Then had a massive 6 hour break before doing a secon dshift at evening peak time so wasted about three hours in McDonalds before it got to the stage where they were on the verge of kicking us out. We then went and wasted a couple more hours in starbuck before going back to the station for more collecting. After dropping Saskia off got home, had food and went straight to bed, at like 9.30pm, though i did watch one episode of A Bit of Fry and Laurie before going to sleep. Didnt get up this morning until 10. That is about 12 hours sleep ^_^

Today i counted the money from the collection and there turned out to be £67. Better than i thought but was £67 quid worth a 4.30 wake-up and 13hour stint in London? Im leaning towards no!

After that i went with my Auntie and cousins to see beauty and the beast in Stevenage. I thought it was really good, my company were not so amused. But i suppose a 7 and 10 year old boys' taste isnt men dancing around in tights...Though mine it was =p There was a really hot dancer guy that i spent most of the time watching...Lol, what a perv! ^_^ We were really close to the stage, about 5 rows back, and right in the middle so it was a really good view. The little girl behind me got scared the first time she saw the beast, bless her. And when he transformed from Beast to Handsome(well....=s)Prince and him and Bell kissed you could feel the disgusting of all the kids who thought that was 'icky' as you do when you are a young age! There were only two songs they hadnt change all the words to: Be Our Guest and Gaston's song (though he wasnt Gaston but Aston) So they were the only two i could sing along to. They guy that played the dutchesses' assitant and eventually assumed the role that was basically Lumiere was quite cool. With one of those working class london cockney type accent (oliver style) though slightly camp and a cool hat and therefore the only one of the cast with a hat that could tip it in the choreography of the whole cast. They were obviously also confused as one song was over the music to Topsy Turvy from the Hunchback of Notre Dame....Someone had obviously got their Disney films in a pickle! Overal i did thoroughly enjoy it. =]

Got back and watched Britain's got Talent and do wonder at how dillusion some people are! There should be a question mark at the end of the title. Though the little boy at the end, Shaheen, was amazing! After that i watched a film called The Bucket List with my parents which was a really good film, highly recommended, but you may want some tissues if you do watch it!
